The students have continued to work hard on their regular schoolwork throughout December. First graders are working on multiplication, cursive handwriting, and are beginning to explore parts of speech. Second graders are working on fractions and parts of speech. Third & fourth graders are working on fractions and decimals and are researching parts of speech in literature. Some students are also researching animals and will start making dioramas soon!

The students all really enjoyed preparing for the Festival of Arts show last week. They all demonstrated a wonderfully creative side as they explored different art mediums, poetry, and playacting. Opportunities for additional creative work will continue throughout the remainder of year.

Friday is Pajama Day and will be the final celebration for the Christmas season. Thanks to all for the donation of gifts to our classroom.
