MAP Testing
Tuesday, May 8 - Tuesday, May 22
MAP testing will begin on Tuesday, May 8 and continue through Tuesday, May 22. You child will not be testing every day - this timeframe is allowed so that we will have adequate time to test every child. You will find a tentative schedule outlining the test dates for you child in your child's mailbox. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest, eats a healthy breakfast and arrives on time during the testing period.

Primary Room 1: Jumpstart into January

Our children came back from Christmas break ready to get back to work! We are working on our phonics, learning more about numbers, writing, tracing, cutting, etc. January is a time of great growth and we are seeing that in our classroom.

In January, we will be studying the weather and its effect on people, animals and the earth. We will explore snow, ice, hibernation and other cold weather lessons. We will also enjoy snowflake and snowman gluing activities.
