RE-ENROLLMENT AND ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
In an effort to create a model educational environment true to the philosophy of Dr. Montessori, relatively even distribution of boys, girls, and ages is critical to the success of each three year developmental cycle in which the students are grouped. Abner reserves the right to select children for admission to the School on the basis of their age, gender, and/or current grade in school.
Re-Enrollment Procedures:
Current students will be re-enrolled in March and April.
Enrollment Procedures for New Students:
1. Schedule a Tour – As part of the admission process, we ask all prospective parents or guardians to observe a classroom and tour the school. The best time to observe a classrooms is during the regular school day. A tour will provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the method we use and allow for questions to be answered directly. Call (803) 345-9428
2. Submit an Application – Complete and submit the application form(s).
3. Schedule a Child Visit – Parents may be asked to arrange a visit to Abner with their child.
New student enrollment will begin in March. We start with the children who have turned in applications to fill available spaces. The school will contact perspective parents when a space is available. Parents will then be given several days to make a decision on accepting the space. Upon acceptance, a deposit will be required.
